Get your knives and forks out - Wellington's culinary festival serves up good times and great deals.

Wellington On a Plate will run from 14 - 29 August 2010. The main event, Dine Wellington, is a fortnight where the city's finest restaurants offer lunchtime set menus for $15, $25, and $35. Dinner deals and discounts are also on the menu.  There's something to please every palate - so fill your plate with everything Wellington has to offer and make sure you go back for seconds.

A wide range of other festival events are also included on the menu.  In 2009, festival events included the craft beer festival Beervana, a sneak peek into the kitchens of some of the capital's top restaurants, espresso tastings, an array of food and beverage matching, cocktail training, banquet lunches, lunch and dinner theatre, and a 70s throwback.
