Desmond Harris is one of New Zealand's prominent Chefs. He developed his career at such institutions as Logan Brown in Wellington where he led the team for six years, and the Martinborough Hotel where as Head Chef he put them on the map for innovative and stylish cuisine winning Cuisine magazine's Best Regional Restaurant Award.
Joining Clooney in March 2008, Des has furthered his reputation with numerous accolades both with Cuisine (Restaurant of the Year Award 2009) and picking up the Lewisham Award for Outstanding Chef in May 2011.
Des' style is classic and contemporary, refined and restrained.
