Brought to you by Moore Wilson
Time: 2.45pm-4pm
For all you keen bakers who drool over Alexa Johnston's gorgeous recipe books Ladies a Plate and A Second Helping, you'll love this session as Alexa will be demonstrating recipes from her new book What's for Pudding? before it even hits the shelves!
In both Ladies a Plate and A Second Helping, Alexa paid tribute to the skills of earlier generations of home bakers. In What’s for Pudding? she extends her reach beyond morning and afternoon teas to the pudding course, presenting fail-safe, old favourite recipes with her usual blend of food history, cooking tips and stories. Alexa Johnston makes and tests all the recipes for her cook books – and takes all the photographs – in her home kitchen in Auckland.
