The Tasting Room, in partnership with PrimeStar, has sourced a cut of beef rarely seen in New Zealand.
From the Makara hills out to the west of the city, Angus Beef has been dry aged on the bone for 21 days and cut into a classic New York strip 700 gram portions!
Individual steaks will be cooked to your liking, and accompanied by baked potato gratin and seasonal greens as well as a trio of steak sauces: peppercorn, bearnaise and a classic jus.
Each steak will be presented with a glass or two of 2010 Murdoch James Syrah.
