Finding Flavour invites you to taste and shop your way around the seaside suburb of Petone. Put on your walking shoes and discover a world of specialist food suppliers and makers. We meet at award-winning Revive Espresso and enjoy a coffee before going behind the scenes to learn about the coffee roasting process.
The walking discovery then takes us to an Asian supermarket, a Dutch food importer, an amazingly comprehensive international food supplier, an Indian food and spice shop, a cookbook shop and a speciality cheese shop run by a passionate cheese foodie. We even have a tasting of Petone's own healthy refreshment product!
Our circuit concludes at the atmospheric La Bella Italia deli and restaurant where a shared Italian lunch with a glass of wine will be enjoyed.
You will meet the people who own the businesses, enjoy lots of tastings, relax over a shared Italian lunch and take home an information folder so that you can return to shop another day!
A minimum of 6 people are required for the tour to run, so tickets are on request.
