In 2011, no pattie was left unturned and no chip un-fried as 49 of Wellington’s finest eateries flexed their buns in the annual battle of the burger, Burger Wellington. There were over 3,800 votes texted in by the public in 2011, scoring each restaurant's burger out of 10. The top five restaurants, with the highest average score, became our Burger Wellington Finalists and cooked off for a panel of judges. And the winner...Café Polo took out the Burger Wellington trophy with The Polly Burger. Congratulations!

Also, congratulations to Rosie Berkhart our text voter who won the prize draw and nabbed herself an iPad 2 prize package worth over $1,500. Nice!
